This Privacy Policy describes the procedures for collecting, storing, using, and protecting personal data of users of the Yastvo mobile application. This Policy is drafted in accordance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data” dated July 27, 2006, and takes into account the requirements of Google Play and the App Store. By continuing to use the application, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data in accordance with this Policy.

2. Collection and Processing of Data

For the operation of Yastvo, we collect and process the following information about the User:

• Full name (user’s name) and e-mail address.

• Body parameters: height, weight, date of birth.

• Dietary preferences and restrictions (e.g., diets, allergies).

• Device geolocation, if the User grants permission.

• Photos of meals and product barcodes, entered manually or via the camera.

• Additional usage data (session times and durations, in-app actions) via analytics services.

Collecting these data is necessary to create and maintain the user’s account, accurately calculate caloric and macronutrient (proteins, fats, carbohydrates) needs, and provide personalized nutrition recommendations.

3. Purposes of Data Processing

User personal data are used for the following purposes:

• Account creation and management, including e-mail verification.

• Calculating individual calorie and macronutrient norms based on parameters (height, weight, age, goals) and dietary preferences.

• Maintaining a food diary, tracking weight dynamics and other health indicators.

• Enabling app functionality: calorie counting, barcode scanning, accepting meal photos, and data exchange via chat.

• Providing nutrition recommendations through the in-app chat.

• Analyzing app performance and improving the service using anonymized statistics (via Google Analytics and Firebase).

• Notifying users of app updates and sending agreed news bulletins.

Data processing is based on the User’s voluntary consent and is necessary for providing the app’s services. Data are retained for the duration of the account’s existence and in accordance with statutory retention periods.

4. Data Transfer and Protection

The Operator implements organizational and technical measures to protect personal data: encryption of data in transit and at rest, firewalls, and restricted database access. Account data (passwords) are stored securely (hashed).

The Operator does not transfer personal data to third parties without the User’s consent, except as required by law or for service provision. For example, anonymized usage data may be shared with Google Analytics and Firebase (Google, USA) for app performance analysis.

5. User Rights

Under Federal Law No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data,” the User has the right to:

• Obtain information on whether their personal data are being processed.

• Access their personal data and request copies.

• Request correction, blocking, or deletion of their personal data.

• Withdraw consent to data processing.

• Demand restriction or cessation of data processing as provided by law.

To exercise these rights, the User may submit a request to work@mediann.dev.

6. Policy Amendments

The Operator reserves the right to modify this Policy. Any new version becomes effective upon publication in the Yastvo app or at [yastvo.com/privacy-policy]. The current version is always available to the User.
